Middleham Park won that race in 2022 with The Platinum Queen and they’re no doubt hoping Doctor Vuby will be of the same quality as when he debuted in British EBF 40th Anniversary Novice Classes (5:37).
The Michael and David Easterby-trained colt was a £52,000 purchase at the Breeze Up sales and is related to a pair of winners.
However, it is a very hot race on debut as Desert Master is ranked second in both starts including behind Lily Agnes next winner Ziggy’s Phoenix.
Amo Racing is contesting the Knicks debut of Carl Burke-son of Invincible Spirit being pulled into the sixth stall and ridden by Sam James.
7.40 Ribbon – Easterby sends in-form winner to Yorkshire Racecourse

He was arguably at his career best with two of his last three wins, including one this course and the distance.
But the Twelfth Knight also won that spot last time out for Ruth Carr, after moving on from Archie Watson’s team, while Mark Walford’s It Just Takes Time did well in York last time out and picked up a 2lb increase.
2.25 Newton Abbott – O’Brien with great chances in the attribute
Fergal O’Brien has two runners this afternoon at Andy Plait and his Hurdles for Friends of Disability (2:25) And Dancila is Paddy Brennan’s pick.
He chose the stable rider Teofilo gelding who won the Scottish Supreme New Hurdle last season, so he will need to be respected on debut handicap, especially with room for improvement with his stable mark of 89.
Valentino Dancer is also up for O’Brien although he hasn’t been seen for 411 days – he’s back at his last win tag with Jack Hogan who took off 5 pounds.
